Zephyra Charter Terms

These terms govern every charter booked with Zephyra across our fleet of 88 yachts and boats in Dubai. We run daily operations between 9:00 and 23:00 GST from Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour. Review the key terms below covering deposits, scheduling changes, catering arrangements, and standard provisions included on board.

01Securing Your Charter and Advance Payment

To reserve any vessel from our fleet of 88 yachts and boats, guests pay an initial deposit of 30 percent. Charters range from 33 to 164 feet with an hourly rate between 600 AED and 18,900 AED, subject to a minimum hire period of 2 hours. Departures run from Dubai Marina or Dubai Harbour between 9:00 and 23:00 GST daily. All arrangements and requests are confirmed directly through the WhatsApp button on this site, where our team replies within 15 minutes to finalise your cruise itinerary and additional services.

02Weather Policy and Date Adjustments

If the weather does not allow sailing on your booked day, we move the charter to another date or refund the payment, based entirely on what the guest chooses. All rescheduling discussions take place via our messaging chat. We agree a new date in the chat to suit your plans, or process your return payment if you prefer not to reschedule. This guarantees flexibility without unexpected penalties whenever marine conditions prevent your boat from departing either Dubai Harbour or Dubai Marina safely.

03Provisions, Guest Catering and Vessel Capacity

Guests may bring their own food and drinks on board, including alcohol, with no corkage fee applied. We provide complimentary soft drinks, ice, towels, and life jackets for all guests. Vessels accommodate up to 90 guests depending on craft size. You do not need to show a passport or ID to board. On request, we can arrange catering, BBQ menus, bar service, decorations, a DJ, live music, a photographer, drone coverage, a projector, sound gear, car transfers, fishing tackle, or water sports equipment like jet skis, flyboards, paddle boards, bananas, seabobs, and snorkelling gear.

04Cover and Operational Standards Included

Every private hire includes insurance, vessel fuel, and a fully licensed captain and crew to navigate the vessel throughout your cruise. These inclusions apply across all 88 yachts and boats departing from Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour. The professional crew remains responsible for marine operation and craft safety during the trip, ensuring standard protective life jackets and equipment remain accessible to all guests throughout the entire voyage, from departure until docking.

  1. What happens if adverse weather prevents us from sailing?

    If the weather does not allow sailing, we move the charter to another date or refund the payment, according to what the guest chooses. We agree a new date in the chat via WhatsApp to ensure a convenient alternative arrangement.

  2. Can I receive a refund on my advance booking payment?

    Yes, if severe conditions prevent departure and sailing is not possible, the guest chooses whether to move the booking to another date or receive a full payment refund. You simply state your preference via WhatsApp.

  3. Are we permitted to carry our own refreshments and alcohol on board?

    Yes, guests may bring their own food and drinks, including alcohol, without paying any corkage fee. We supply soft drinks and ice, while specialised catering or bar services can be arranged upon request.
